Insights

Crossfunctional collaboration is important for creating the best product possible.

Our team had a vast range of majors, and included both graduate and undergraduate students. We were also each from a different country and degree program, but we meshed really well! We were able to use the range of talents to support each other and fill each other's skill gaps. Personally, I learned a lot from the Service Design major on our team, and plan on using new business-focused skills for future projects.

Crazy Eights is a quick way to get many ideas in a larger group.

I found that this method took the pressure off and allowed our team to let out silly or problematic ideas first, and get to the good stuff. Sometimes your first idea isn't your best idea, and that's perfectly okay!
